Fuat Tuaç est l'hôte des Jam Sessions Concordia les mercredis au Upstairs depuis 2012. Fuat a récemment diplômé de Jazz Studies de l'Université Concordia où il a étudié le chant en privé avec Madeleine Thériault.

Fuat a déjà participé aux festivals de Jazz d'Istanbul, en Turquie; Loire en France et Pulawy en Pologne. Fuat etait aussi un de deux chanteurs principaux de Concordia Big Band dirigé par Dave Turner. Il a aussi participé à des ateliers partout dans le monde menée par Tierney Sutton , Kevin Mahogany , Sheila Jordan , Barry Harris, Anita Wardell et Amy London.

Fuat est une chanteur extrêmement polyvalent, son répertoire couvre des standards de jazz , Bossa Novas et les versions jazzy de chansons pop bien connues . Ce soir, il se produira également un répertoire spécial comprenant versions jazzy éclectique de chansons folkloriques traditionnelles turques.

Fuat Tuaç is the host of the Concordia Jam Sessions on Wednesdays at Upstairs since 2012. Fuat has recently graduated from Jazz Studies of Concordia University wherein he studied voice privately with Madéleine Thériault.

Fuat previously performed at the Jazz Festivals of Istanbul, Turkey; Loire, France and Pulawy, Poland. Fuat was also one of the two lead vocalists of the Concordia Big Band directed by Dave Turner. He further attended workshops all over the world conducted by Tierney Sutton, Kevin Mahogany, Sheila Jordan, Barry Harris, Anita Wardell and Amy London.

Fuat is an extremely versatile vocalist, his repertoire covers jazz standards, Bossa Novas and the jazzy versions of well-known pop songs. Tonight he will also be performing a special repertoire comprising eclectic jazzy versions of Turkish traditional folklore songs.
