Black Night Crash is extremely excited to announce the return of THE SMOKES to Ding Dong Lounge! Your favourite Strokes cover band are set to make their next appearance at BNC later this month on Friday the 30th of January.

Not only are The Smokes up there with the greatest tribute bands going around, they're also an Aussie supergroup made up of musos from some of Melbourne's raddest rock groups.

The last time the boys took to the Ding Dong Lounge stage it was to a sold out venue totally reveling in the brilliance of The Strokes' back catalogue. This time the guys have a couple of extra tunes up their sleeves that audiences are yet to hear The Smokes boys rip out on stage. Expect to hear a whole lot of earlier hits from the first few records, plus a couple of sneaky newer additions to The Strokes' repertoire.

Whether you're purely a fan of good ol' fashion garage and indie rock'n'roll, or still reviling over the cancelled tour of a certain front man of the exact band The Smokes attribute their existence to.. you won't want to miss this.
