Party: SUP Club – to the church...

Tonight's venue will be Paper Mill Lock (see www.wetndrysup.com/paper-mill-lock-river-chelmer/), where we probably won't get rain but probably will get quite an easterly breeze (although given the current weather, it's hard to say for sure!) So we'll be meeting at 6.30pm for a 6.45pm launch and heading east (if you're late, turn right, away from the lock). Rather than go all the way to Hoe Mill Lock we'll turn at All Saints Church, Ulting. Then hopefully back in time to grab a table at The Lion Inn, Boreham – fine food and/or drink for anyone that fancies it? As ever at the river, all paddlers should be licensed (we finally have a firm appointment to renew ours with Hugh tomorrow, so can sort out any more needed for £30...) A combination of the wind and slight technical towing issues mean we won't be offering hire kit tonight.
