The Hi Strung-Downers are a rockabilly and rock and roll four-piece band based out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Made up of members from some of Southern Alberta's veteran groups (including The Black Coffee Cowboys, The Surefires, The Southern Twisters and The Ruminants), The Hi-Strung Downers are writing the next musical chapter of Western Canadian rock and roots.
With the release of their debut album, Here She Lies, Earl Garnet, Joe Love, T-Bone and Greasy Greg sing their anthems of bar rooms, trains, women and jail houses in venues across Western Canada.
