The Grand Theatre on the Colchester High Street has a huge clubbing heritage lasting decades. Starting in 1986 with the legandary Hippodrome, then the Hippodrome Experience in 1999 returning to its prior name of the Hippodrome in 2002 then opening in June 2008 as Liquid, the venue has surely entertained hundreds of thousands of people but as they say all good things must come to an end.
