GrudaTree
GrudaTree is an Asheville, NC area-based trio whose music is a blend of funk, blues, psychedelic soul, classic jazz, fusion and experimental sounds. Their expansive repertoire consists of originals, classic covers and improvisatory thing-thangs. The 'Tree-oh's live shows are lively, raw and spontaneous with an eclectic, yet soulful direction. No two shows or versions of songs are the same and their classic cover tune choices range from Howling Wolf to James Brown to Thelonious Monk to Jimi Hendrix and so on.... come ON, get OUT and get UP and DOWN to a show, yO! ...the 'Tree-oh = Kris Gruda (electric guitar/vocal/effects/objects) + Michelangelo Amore (electric bass guitar) + J Good (drums/auxiliary howls) w/ occasional guest JP Furnas (on trombone or electric bass guitar)...and the 'Tree is ever growin'...
