Even though we are from Russia, we like democracy!
Which means that it is time for an AGM where YOU, the members, can elect next year's committee of our society!
Why should you be interested in applying for a committee role? Because that way you can support what you like in this society and change what you don't like!
On 14th March at 6pm in Roberts 508, we will be electing the following positions:
President
Treasurer
Secretary (Publicity officer)
Social events officer
Cultural officer (managing Russian classes and cultural events)
External Relations officer
If you are interested in running for any of the positions, email us at [email protected] (or [email protected]) with a short motivational statement (in under 150 words) before Saturday 12th of March, 6pm. You may run for up to two positions.
Anybody can apply, as long as they have a membership of our society.
We are looking forward to hearing from you!
P.S. There will be free Stolle pies! ;)
