The Walnut Grove Horse Park is the only public equestrian facility in San Diego County. It is used throughout the year for a variety of horseshows, as an evacuation center when necessary, and as a staging area for accessing an extensive network of multi-use city and county trails. The Horse Heritage Festival is a family oriented event with entertainment and activities for all ages.
Please save the date and come on out. This is how the equestrian show the City of San Marcos that horses are here to stay, and how Walnut Grove Park gets the money for its upgrades. The nice Shade over the viewing stands. The new arena dirt. The sprinkler systems on both arenas. The 12 brand new 12x12 corrals that you will see at the first show.
