Party: SAMOANS + SUPPORT

Samoans are a band from Cardiff, although none of the members originate from the city itself. Since forming in 2008 the band have established themselves as one of Wales' up and coming talents, creating a collection of intricate, yet melodic songs, drawing influence from a range of different genres.

They have worked relentlessly booking their own tours, gradually building up a dedicated following with their distinctive style of progressive rock. Live shows are notorious for their energy, fretboard mastery and exhaustive drumming and performances at Reading & Leeds Festival 2012, SWN Festival and ArcTanGent have proven the bands worth as a live act amongst the UK alternative music scene.

The band have released several singles and an EP, carving out a distinctive musical direction that will culminate in their debut album entitled 'Rescue' out in June on Apres Vous Records.

Artrocker: "A daring sound that splits away from the M.O.R. dregs of the commercial chart. On record they are big and bold but live they run at unparalleled breakneck speeds"

Rock Sound: “Carving a sound somewhere between 'Ideal Height'-era Biffy Clyro and a more expansive ASIWYFA-esque post-rock landscape, there's enough to entice fans of both the weird and the straightforward”.
