We've been thinking about various combinations of dj's playing back to back for some time, so when WARRIOR JUNGLE brought up the idea of ED SOLO and BENNY PAGE playing back to back it was a no-brainer for us!

Both Ed and Benny have played at Hideout before, but seeing these two play tune-for-tune will be something else!

Two of the UK's top jungle artists go back to back for an exclusive 90 minute session. Over the last decade these two have been paving the foundations of dubwise drum & Bass and jungle as well as delving into other genres.

Storming onto the scene with his 2006 anthem ‘Turn Down The Lights’ Benny has gone on to release a slew of seminal ragga jungle cuts, as well as numerous well received productions across the dance music spectrum. Having cut his teeth in to Shy Fx’s Digital Soundboy imprint, he has collaborated with some of the most exciting producers and vocalists in the industry. From his crucial remix of Gyptian’s ‘Hold You’ to his work with the likes of Mc Spyda and Topcat he has taken his brand of dubwise dnb to audiences across the globe. With sights set firmly on the future it’s all about his very own label High Culture Recordings. Exemplifying Benny’s ability to move effortlessly through the different sounds of UK bass music, much of the labels output so far has been refreshingly diverse. Benny Page travels the world playing at some of the biggest events and festivals going mashing up dance floors where ever he goes.

Strangely enough for an artist named Ed Solo, this prolific producer used to be best known for his collaborations with other artists. Deekline, Krafty Kuts, Skool of Thought, drum 'n' bass legend Brockie - all have benefited from getting Ed alongside them in the studio. The east London lad who grew up listening to pirate radios and cut his teeth as a production assistant at the famous Sour studios really is a Jedi master of sonic science: drop the needle on an Ed Solo record and you'll soon know about it - no one makes club music that cuts through a soundsystem quite like him.
Ed has become a firm favourite on the festival scene smashing up the likes of Boomtown, Glastonbury, Symmetry and many others.
