A Mini Gnawa Festival in East London! Simo Lagnawi The UK's leading Guembri player and Gnawa Master will lead you on a spiritual journey into the World of Gnawa culture, from traditional through fusions of different styles.

Since his arrival in the UK in 2008, the charismatic creator and leader of Gnawa Blues All Stars, Simo, has performed at a host of festivals including Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Latitude and Boom Town.
Playing traditional Gnawa (sacred trance music from Morocco) and Gnawa fusion with his bands Electric Jalaba, Gnawa Griot, and Gnawa Blues Allstars, Simo continuously pushes new boundaries fusing Gnawa with music from countries such as Gambia, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Guinea, Mali, India, Japan, Venezuela and the Caribbean. Look out for special guest musicians playing with the band!

Miroslav Morski is a musical tornado - if you've seen him, the chances are he had a guitar in his hand, taking his grooves to the next level, be it in Bulgarian folk, reggae, funk, or his own beautiful and unique compositions.
Well-known for his importance to The Turbans, and as a superstar in his home country of Bulgaria for his work fronting Django Ze, it is always a treat to hear the fiery-eyed Morski's incredible guitar and voice. Catch him while you can with his band of 6 red hot musicians.
