You will be the first one to know when pictures are uploaded!
Learning to fly is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that is fun, exciting and interesting from the day of your introductory flight. And, much of what you’ll discover is useful even when you’re not at the controls. Learn about weather, global positioning systems, human health, internal combustion engines, aerodynamics, decision-making, and much more. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to become a Private Pilot; new pilots ranging from high school students to retired people join the community every year. Think about all the things you could do once you have a pilot’s licence!
The Rockcliffe Flying Club is hosting this FREE information session on February 25, 2015 in the Bush Theatre at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum. These sessions will provide a complete overview of what it is like to be -- and how to become -- a pilot. Experienced private pilots will describe the steps it takes to get your licence at any age.
Invited: Nick Babluck, Gérard Métrailler, Angélique Derigny, Trudy Ferguson, George Soares, Kelley Tish Baker, Sean Boxer, Yang Li, Dean Pantalone, Alison Hobbs, Scott Buckley, Chanel Langlois, Carly N Ryan, Arkash Sundralingam
